For more than 75 years, Hillside Memorial Park has provided members of the Jewish community the mean

s to honor and remember their loved ones in beauty, tranquility and the comfort of Jewish traditions.

Throughout history, the foundations of a Jewish community have always been built with a cemetery, a school and a synagogue. Hillside is a community service of Temple Israel of Hollywood, and is committed to the vitality of the greater Los Angeles Jewish community.

Special events are held throughout the year to educate members of the community about Jewish traditions and mourning practices, as well as provide solace through programs of remembrance. Additionally our Genizah provides the community with a burying place for retired Torah scrolls and worn prayer books.

Our Distinguished Residents guide highlights the innumerable contributions to the Jewish community, Los Angeles, Israel and the world, made by those who have been laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park.
